This term, Darragh Class enjoyed learning about India. They explored the different parts of the country - North, East, West and South - and learnt about the varied terrain, traditional food, and clothing found in each region.
The children took part in creative activities, including making and colouring Indian flags and designing beautiful Rangoli patterns. They also enjoyed a sensory activity, smelling different spices commonly used in Indian cooking, and learnt some fun Bollywood dance moves.
To finish the topic, the children took part in a cooking activity where they made aloo paratha with a cheesy twist, along with refreshing mango lassi. They helped prepare the dough, rolled their own parathas, and enjoyed tasting everything together. It was a fun and memorable way to bring their learning about India to life.
