Well done to the whole school for such brilliant support of our Active Travel Breakfast this morning - we had well over half the school joining us for breakfast after actively travelling to school. It was good to see so many children coming on their scooters or bikes this morning. Thank you to Alex and Amanda from Sustrans, our older Healthy Committee Members and school staff for helping to organise and serve the breakfast to everyone. All those children who brought a scooter to school enjoyed a scooter session on the playground and Darragh and Urley Class both enjoyed a very educational session about 'Bike Biology' - they learnt all the parts of a bike and how to do a proper safety check on their bikes. Thanks also to Minister Harmer for coming in to officially open our scooter rack - hopefully we will see lots of children choosing to come to school on their scooters or bikes long into the future.
