ANAGH COAR PRIMARY SCHOOL

HAPPY - CARING - MOTIVATED - RESPONSIBLE - SUCCESSFUL - CONFIDENT

On Monday 25th September we had a visit from Jen, the Education Officer, from Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch. She taught the whole school about all the species of whales and dolphins we might see in Manx waters and got the children to measure out the sizes of the different species so we could see how they compared. The infants even got to go out onto the playground to measure out how big a blue whale is - one would fit nicely on our top playground! The children all really enjoyed learning about this and some even got the chance to spot minke whales for themselves in the evening off Marine Drive.
